We love this 1950's Trimmed With Roses Twin Set. The original twin set was knitted in lime, pink, dark red and dark green for the leaves of the rose motifs.

MEASUREMENTS:Bust: to fit 34 to 36 inch bust
MATERIALS:
Original Yarn suggestion and needle size info:
12 oz 3 ply Fingering Wool in lime ( we restored the photo in a natural shade)2 oz each 3 ply Fingering Wool in pink and dark red
1⁄2 oz 3 ply Fingering Wool in dark green
No. 10 Needles (3.25 mm)
No. 12 Needle (2.75 mm)
1 - 4 inch Zip Fastener
7 Buttons
TENSION:
Worked at a tension of 7 1⁄2 stitches and 9 1⁄2 rows to 1 inch over stocking-stitch
The original yarn may not be available due to the age of the pattern. Select the yarn type that is closest to the weight of the original yarn.
When reworking the pattern it is best to knit a tension swatch with your chosen yarn. To get the correct measurements, your tension must be the same as stated in the pattern.
