KNITTING PATTERN INFORMATION
You will love knitting this 1950s Mila Tyrolean Style Cardigan. The original cardigan was knitted in stocking stitch on a blue background with navy and red motifs. Pretty floral motifs are hand embroidered in yellow and green. The neckline cord is plaited with tassels and threaded through holes at the neck which is fastened with a press stud. Instructions to knit short sleeves and a motif chart is included in the knitting pattern instructions.

MEASUREMENTS:Bust: to fit 34 to 36 inch bust
MATERIALS:
Original Yarn suggestion and needle size info:
11 oz 4 ply wool in Blue
1 oz 4 ply wool of each in Navy and Red
No. 12 knitting needles (2.75 mm)
No. 10 knitting needles (3.25 mm)
10 Buttons
Press Stud
Medium Crochet Hook
TENSION:
5 stitches to 1 inch measured over moss stitch on No 6 knitting needles (5.00 mm)
The original yarn may not be available due to the age of the pattern. Select the yarn type that is closest to the weight of the original yarn.
When reworking the pattern it is best to knit a tension swatch with your chosen yarn. To get the correct measurements, your tension must be the same as stated in the pattern.
