KNITTING PATTERN INFORMATION
This fabulous 1950s Lara Peasant Cardigan is worked in a trellis pattern of raised stitches with ribbing forming the neckline, waistline and sleeves. Pretty flowers are embroidered in each diamond on the fronts and sleeves in lazy daisy stitch. Stems and leaves are then added to each flower in bright green.

Length: 19 inches
Sleeve Length: 18 inches
MATERIALS:Original Yarn suggestion and needle size info:
17 oz WB Kwiknit wool
Oddments of contrasting shades of wool for embroidery
No. 7 Needles (4.50 mm)
No. 10 Needles (3.25 mm)
9 Buttons
TENSION AND YARN:
One pattern is 2 inches (unpressed)
The original yarn may not be available due to the age of the pattern. Select yarn that is closest to the weight of the original yarn.
When reworking the pattern it is best to knit a tension swatch with your chosen yarn. To get the correct measurements, your tension must be the same as stated in the pattern.
