Length from lower edge to top of shoulder: 20 inches
Length of sleeve from underarm: 18 inches

No. 12 needles (2.75 mm)

12 oz. Patons Glengarry Knitting Wool
Scraps of brightly coloured wools for embroidery
No. 11 needles (3.00 mm)
No. 9 needles (3.75 mm)
Petersham ribbon for facing front edges
TENSION AND YARN:
White cardigan, 7 stitches to1 inch over pattern. Red cardigan, 6 1⁄2 stitches to 1 inch.
The original yarn may not be available due to the age of the pattern. Select yarn that is closest to the weight of the original yarn.
When reworking the pattern it is best to knit a tension swatch with your chosen yarn. To get the correct measurements, your tension must be the same as stated in the pattern.
