This lovely 1940s Vivian Jumper ⁄ Sweater with matching cardigan is tailored for town or travelling. This pretty model features a ribbed bow tie and a zig zag pattern stitch. This set will look charming knitted in any colour and worn over your favourite skirt or trousers.
KNITTING PATTERN INSTRUCTIONS
MEASUREMENTS:Bust: to fit 32 to 34 inch bust
MATERIALS:
Original Yarn suggestion and needle size info:
9 oz Patons Beehive Fingering 2 ply for set with short sleeves10 oz for set with long sleeves
No. 10 needles (3.25 mm)
No. 12 needles (2.75 mm)
4 Buttons
1 spare needle for cabling
TENSION:
Knit to a tension of 8 stitches per inch over zig zag pattern.
The original yarn may not be available due to the age of the pattern. Select the yarn type that is closest to the weight of the original yarn.
When reworking the pattern it is best to knit a tension swatch with your chosen yarn. To get the correct measurements, your tension must be the same as stated in the pattern.
