This adorable little 1940s Tulip Jumper ⁄ Sweater is knitted in a feminine lacy stitch. The jumper will look stunning in any colour and is suitable to wear any time, day or night.
KNITTING PATTERN INSTRUCTIONS
MEASUREMENTS:
Width all around at underarm 29 inches, stretching to a 32 inch bust size
Length from lower edge to top of shoulder 17 1⁄2 inches
Length of sleeve from underarm 4 1⁄2 inches
MATERIALS:
Original Yarn suggestion and needle size info:
6 oz. Sirdar Super Shetland 3-ply wool
No. 9 needles (3.75 mm)
No. 13 needles (2.25 mm)
a pair of shoulder pads
TENSION:
Knit to a tension of 17 stitches to 2 inches in width and 9 rows to 1 inch in depth, over the pattern.
The original yarn may not be available due to the age of the pattern. Select the yarn type that is closest to the weight of the original yarn.
When reworking the pattern it is best to knit a tension swatch with your chosen yarn. To get the correct measurements, your tension must be the same as stated in the pattern.
