This charming 1940s Tressa Jumper ⁄ Sweater with puffed sleeves and slim waistline, was originally knitted in black with a grey and white yoke top. When knitting this vintage jumper, it is very effective to use three shades of one colour.

MEASUREMENTSBust: width all around at underarm nearly 35 inches, stretching up to a 37 inch bust size
Length from shoulder: 17 1⁄2 inches
Sleeve seam: 5 1⁄2 inches
MATERIALS
Original yarn suggestion and needle size info:
4 oz of Super Fingering Wool 3 ply in black
1 oz each of Super Fingering Wool 3 ply in grey and white
No. 10 knitting needles (3.25 mm)No. 12 knitting needles (2.75 mm)

TENSION
Worked at a tension of 15 stitches to 2 inches and 10 rows to 1 inch over the stocking stitch (after pressing).

When reworking the pattern it is best to knit a tension swatch with your chosen yarn. To get the correct measurements, your tension must be the same as stated in the pattern.
