KNITTING PATTERN INFORMATION
This very lovely 1940s Simple Fair Isle Jumper ⁄ Sweater with its neatly fitting ribbed welts, is knitted in seven colours which blend perfectly. Oddments of 3 ply wool could be used when knitting the jumper.

MEASUREMENTS:Bust: width all around at underarm 34 inches
Length from lower edge to top of shoulder: 18 1⁄2 inches
Length of sleeve from underarm: 17 1⁄2 inches

4 oz. W.B. Melody Knittings Wool 3 ply in white2 oz. W.B. Melody Knittings Wool 3 ply in fawn
1 oz. W.B. Melody Knittings Wool 3 ply of each in blue, maroon, yellow, green and rose pink
No. 9 needles (3.75 mm)
No. 12 needles (2.75 mm)4 Press Studs
TENSION AND YARN
Over the Fair Isle Pattern 8 stitches to 1 inch in width and 25 rows to 3 inches in depth
The original yarn may not be available due to the age of the pattern. Select yarn that is closest to the weight of the original yarn.
When reworking the pattern it is best to knit a tension swatch with your chosen yarn. To get the correct measurements, your tension must be the same as stated in the pattern.
