KNITTING PATTERN INFORMATION
This 1940s classic Rosie Twin Set is the simplest and most satisfactory design to knit. The classic jumper ⁄ sweater and cardigan are perfect to wear with your favourite skirt.
KNITTING PATTERN INSTRUCTIONS
JUMPER MEASUREMENTS:Bust: width all around at underarm 32 inches
Sleeve seam: 6 inches
Length from top of shoulder: 17 inches
CARDIGAN MEASUREMENTS:
BUST: width all around at underarm 34 inches
Sleeve seam: 15 1⁄2 inches
Length from top of shoulder: 19 inches
JUMPER MATERIALS:
Original Yarn suggestion and needle size info:
4 oz. Nibla Knitting
No. 9 needles Beehive needles (3.75 mm)
3 buttons
CARDIGAN MATERIALS:
6 oz. Nibla knitting
No. 9 knitting needles (3.75mm)
4 buttons
TENSION:
8 stitches to one inch in width (not stretched), measured over plain, smooth fabric must be obtained to give a garment of above mentioned size. Whatever size of needles found suitable by the knitter, it is absoutley essential that fabric should measure 8 stitches to one inch.
The original yarn may not be available due to the age of the pattern. Select the yarn type that is closest to the weight of the original yarn.
When reworking the pattern it is best to knit a tension swatch with your chosen yarn. To get the correct measurements, your tension must be the same as stated in the pattern.
