Style will be your strong suit in  this 1940s Regent House Suit by Sirdar.  This versatile suit can be mixed with other pieces to change up the look. It's perfect to wear around town or to the office.  Knit it in a colour combination that is uniquely you.

MEASUREMENTS:

Bust:  width all around at underarm 34 inches

Skirt Length:  from top of shoulder 28 1⁄2 inches

Hips:  width all around at hips 38 inches

 

MATERIALS:

Original Yarn  suggestion and needle size info:   

 

COAT

13 oz Sirdar Bouclé Wool light

2 oz Sirdar Bouclé dark

 

SKIRT

13 oz Sirdar Bouclé Wool light

 

No. 11 Needles (3.00 mm)

14 Small Buttons

3 Large Buttons

2 Hooks & Eyes

3⁄4 Yard Elastic

1 Yard Ribbon for Facing

 

TENSION:

Worked at a tension of 8 stitches to 1 inch.

 

The original yarn may not be available due to the age of the pattern. Select the yarn type that is closest to the weight of the original yarn.

 

When reworking the pattern it is best to knit a tension swatch with your chosen yarn. To get the correct measurements, your tension must be the same as stated in the pattern.
