This 1940s Marguerite Fair Isle Jumper was originally knitted with white flowers on a black background. The flower centres are embroidered in a satin stitch.

MEASUREMENTS:Bust: to fit 32 to 34 inch bust
MATERIALS:Original Yarn suggestion and needle size info:
7 oz 3 Ply Wool in black
2 oz 3 Ply Wool in white
No. 10 Needles (3.25 mm)
No. 12 Needles (2.75 mm)
Medium sized crochet hook
4 Press Studs
TENSION AND YARN:
8 stitches and 10 rows to 1 inch over the Fair Isle pattern
The original yarn may not be available due to the age of the pattern. Select yarn that is closest to the weight of the original yarn.
When reworking the pattern it is best to knit a tension swatch with your chosen yarn. To get the correct measurements, your tension must be the same as stated in the pattern.
