Refine your wardrobe with this fabulous 1940s Lesley Jumper. Instructions are given to knit a long or short sleeved model.
KNITTING PATTERN INSTRUCTIONS
MEASUREMENTS:Bust: to fit 34 inch bust
Length from lower edge to top of shoulder: 18 1⁄2 inches
Length of sleeve from underarm: 18 inches long, 4 1⁄2 inches short
MATERIALS:Original Yarn suggestion and needle size info:
8 oz 3 ply Wool for long sleeve model
6 oz 3 ply Wool for short sleeve model
No. 10 Needles (3.25 mm)
No. 12 Needles (2.75 mm)
Short Needle with points at both ends or bodkin for cabling
2 Small Buttons
TENSION AND YARN:
7 1⁄2 stitches and 10 rows to 1 square inch
The original yarn may not be available due to the age of the pattern. Select yarn that is closest to the weight of the original yarn.
When reworking the pattern it is best to knit a tension swatch with your chosen yarn. To get the correct measurements, your tension must be the same as stated in the pattern.
