MEASUREMENTS:

Bust:  width all around at underarm 35 1⁄2 inches when jacket is closed


MATERIALS:

Original Yarn  suggestion and needle size info:   

12 oz Double Knitting Wool for short sleeves

16 oz Double Knitting Wool for long sleeves

Small amount of Wool for covering buttons

No. 11 Needles (3.00 mm)

No. 7 Needles (4.50 mm)

No. 5 Needles (5.50 mm)

5 Button Moulds

 

TENSION  AND YARN:

13 stitches to every 3 inches in width and 11 rows to every 2 inches in width on No. 5 needles

 

The original yarn may not be available due to the age of the pattern.  Select yarn that is closest to the weight of the original yarn.

 

When reworking the pattern it is best to knit a tension swatch with your chosen yarn. To get the correct measurements, your tension must be the same as stated in the pattern.
