MEASUREMENTS
The Stockings:
Length of leg 27 1⁄2 inches
Length of foot 9 1⁄2 inches but adjustable to suit the wearer
The Turban:
Length 35 inches
Width 8 inches
MATERIALS
The Stockings:
3 oz. Copleys 2-ply Excelsior Shetland Wool
4 skeins of stranded cotton to match the wool
The Turban:
2 oz Copley's 2-ply Excelsior Shetland Wool
No. 12 knitting needles (2.75 mm)
TENSION
Worked to produce 9 stitches and 11 rows to 1 square inch in smooth fabric ( 1 row K., 1 row P.).
The original yarn may not be available due to the age of the pattern. Select the yarn type that is closest to the weight of the original yarn.
When reworking the pattern it is best to knit a tension swatch with your chosen yarn. To get the correct measurements, your tension must be the same as stated in the pattern.
