KNITTING PATTERN INSTRUCTIONS 


MEASUREMENTS:

SCARF

Length:  41 inches

Width:  8 inches

 

BERET

To fit 21 to 23 inch head

 

ORIGINAL YARN SUGGESTION:

5 oz 4 ply wool

1 1⁄4 oz ball of angora wool

No. 6 Needles (5.00 mm)

No. 8 Needles (4.00 mm)

No. 10 Needles (3.25 mm)

No. 12 Needles (2.75 mm)

 

TENSION  AND YARN:

With No. 6 needles, 5 stitches to 1 inch.

 

The original yarn may not be available due to the age of the pattern.  Select yarn that is closest to the weight of the original yarn.

 

When reworking the pattern it is best to knit a tension swatch with your chosen yarn. To get the correct measurements, your tension must be the same as stated in the pattern.
