This smart 1940s Ivy Twin Set is perfect to wear over a skirt or trousers. The original twin set was knitted in a maroon shade for the main colour and blue for the leaf pattern.
KNITTING PATTERN INSTRUCTIONS
MEASUREMENTS:Jumper Bust: width all around underarm 34 inches
Cardigan Bust: width all around at underarm 35 inches
MATERIALS:Original Yarn and needle size info:
13 oz 3 Ply Wool in Maroon1 oz 3 Ply Wool in Blue
No. 10 Needles (3.25 mm)
No. 12 Needles (2.75 mm)
10 Buttons for Cardigan
3 Press Studs for Jumper
TENSION:7 stitches to 1 inch on No. 9 Needles.
The original yarn may not be available due to the age of the pattern. Select yarn that is closest to the weight of the original yarn.
When reworking the pattern it is best to knit a tension swatch with your chosen yarn. To get the correct measurements, your tension must be the same as stated in the pattern.
