KNITTING PATTERN INSTRUCTIONS
MEASUREMENTS:Scarf: 30 inches
Gloves: to fit 6 1⁄2 to 6 3⁄4 hand
Socks: to fit 9 1⁄2 inch foot
Stockings: 26 inches, length of leg to bottom of heel
MATERIALS:Original Yarn suggestion and needle size info:
SCARF, GLOVES, SOCKS
5 oz 3 Ply Fingering Wool in main shade
1 oz 3 Ply Fingering Wool in dark shade
No. 9 needles (3.75 mm)No 11 Needles (3.00 mm) Set of 4
STOCKINGS
6 oz 3 Ply Fingering Wool
No 13 Needles (2.25 mm) Set of 4
TENSION AND YARN:
8 1⁄2 stitches to an inch over stocking stitch on socks
7 1⁄2 stitches to an inch over pattern on scarf
9 1⁄2 stitches and 13 rows to one square inch on stockings
The original yarn may not be available due to the age of the pattern. Select yarn that is closest to the weight of the original yarn.
When reworking the pattern it is best to knit a tension swatch with your chosen yarn. To get the correct measurements, your tension must be the same as stated in the pattern.
