This lovely 1940s Frances Jumper ⁄ Sweater is worked in charming lace pattern. This classic 40s jumper is perfect for day wear with a skirt or trousers.

MEASUREMENTS:Bust: width all around at underarm 38 inches
Length from shoulder: 19 inches
Sleeve seam: 6 1⁄2 inches
MATERIALS:
Original Yarn suggestion and needle size info:
5 oz Patons Beehive fingering 2 plyNo 9 needles (3.75 mm)
No. 12 needles (2.75 mm)
4 buttons
TENSION:
A tension of 1 pattern (14 stitches) to 1 3⁄4 inches in width (measured flat ) must be obtained to give a garment of above mentioned size.
The original yarn may not be available due to the age of the pattern. Select the yarn type that is closest to the weight of the original yarn.
When reworking the pattern it is best to knit a tension swatch with your chosen yarn. To get the correct measurements, your tension must be the same as stated in the pattern.
