KNITTING PATTERN INFORMATION
Knit this 1940s Eleanora Jumper ⁄ Sweater for every day living. This jumper has and attractive Fair Isle pattern around the neckline, and is worked in a lovely detailed lace pattern. The original model was knitted in white with the Fair Isle pattern worked in red, gold, royal blue, light blue, brown and green.
KNITTING PATTERN INSTRUCTIONS
Bust: to fit 34 inch bust
Original Yarn suggestion and needle size info:
4 oz Patons Fingering 2 ply in white
Oddments in red, gold, royal blue, light blue, brown, green
No. 11 needles (3 mm)
4 No. 13 double pointed needles (2.25 mm)
4 No 11 double pointed needles (3 mm)
Worked to a tension of 8 stitches and 10 rows on No. 11 needles to 1 square inch in lace fabric.
The original yarn may not be available due to the age of the pattern. Select the yarn type that is closest to the weight of the original yarn.
When reworking the pattern it is best to knit a tension swatch with your chosen yarn. To get the correct measurements, your tension must be the same as stated in the pattern.
