This enchanting Dresden Shepherdess Fair Isle Jumper ⁄ Sweater looks cool and sweet. The original jumper was knitted in blue and white, but other combinations can be equally as attractive, as seen in the cover photo. There is an opening on the left shoulder.

Length from lower edge to top of shoulder: 21 3⁄4 inches
Length of sleeve from underarm: 4 1⁄4 inches

TENSION AND YARN:
8 stitches to 1 inch and 23 rows to 3 inches over Fair Isle pattern
The original yarn may not be available due to the age of the pattern. Select yarn that is closest to the weight of the original yarn.
When reworking the pattern it is best to knit a tension swatch with your chosen yarn. To get the correct measurements, your tension must be the same as stated in the pattern.
