KNITTING PATTERN INFORMATION
White is the perfect choice for this 1940s Crimson Rose Jumper from 1949.The roses would look lovely knitted in pastel shades on black or royal blue. The neck and sleeve hems are defined with a line of chain stitch embroidered in the rose colour. The hem at the lower edge has a knitted in hem-stitch effect.

MEASUREMENTS:Bust: to fit a 33 to 35 inch bust
MATERIALS:Original Yarn suggestion and needle size info:
5 oz 3 Ply Fingering in White
1 oz 3 Ply Fingering of each in Red and Green
No. 10 Needles (3.25 mm)
Medium sized crochet hook
TENSION AND YARN:
7 stitches and 10 rows to one inch
The original yarn may not be available due to the age of the pattern. Select yarn that is closest to the weight of the original yarn.
When reworking the pattern it is best to knit a tension swatch with your chosen yarn. To get the correct measurements, your tension must be the same as stated in the pattern.
