This pretty 1940s Clover Leaf Jumper ⁄ Sweater is patterned all over with clover leaves in one contrasting colour. It has no fastenings but pulls over the head.
KNITTING PATTERN INSTRUCTIONS
MEASUREMENTS:Bust: width all around at underarm 32 to 33 inches
Length from lower edge to top of shoulder: 20 1⁄2 inches
Length of sleeve from underarm: 4 1⁄2 inches
MATERIALS:Original Yarn suggestion and needle size info:
6 oz Sirdar Majestic Wool 3 ply in main colour
2 oz Sirdar Majestic Wool 3 ply in green
No. 10 needles (3.25 mm)
No. 12 needles (2.75 mm), 4 with points at each end
TENSION AND YARN:
8 stitches and 10 rows to 1 inch
The original yarn may not be available due to the age of the pattern. Select yarn that is closest to the weight of the original yarn.
When reworking the pattern it is best to knit a tension swatch with your chosen yarn. To get the correct measurements, your tension must be the same as stated in the pattern.
