This pretty 1940s Alice Striped Jumper ⁄ Sweater has a straight neckline that fastens at the shoulder with buttons. If you love stripes, you'll have fun choosing your own colour combination for this knitting project. The original jumper was knitted in stripes of beige, pink and blue with dark blue stripes in between each colour.

MEASUREMENTS
To fit 34 to 35 inch bust size
Length from lower edge to top of shoulder: 17 inches
Sleeve length: 4 1⁄2 inches
MATERIALS
Original Yarn suggestion and needle size info:
3 oz mid blue 3 ply wool
1 oz dark blue
2 oz each of beige, pink wool
No 7 knitting needles (4.5 mm)
6 buttons
TENSION
5 1⁄2 stitches to 1 inch
