This little 1940s Dutch Cap is perfect for windy days. The cap is crocheted in double wool to make a firm, hard wearing fabric that will stand up to hard wear and rough weather.
CROCHET PATTERN INSTRUCTIONS
MEASUREMENTS:Width all round lower edge 22 inches
ORIGINAL YARN SUGGESTION:
2 oz 3 ply wool
A medium sized crochet hook
TENSION AND YARN:
6 double crochet to 1 inch in width
6 rows of double crochet to 1 inch in depth
The original yarn may not be available due to the age of the pattern. Select yarn that is closest to the weight of the original yarn.
When reworking the pattern it is best to knit a tension swatch with your chosen yarn. To get the correct measurements, your tension must be the same as stated in the pattern.
