This adorable little 1930s Thelma Jumper is very easy to knit with no tiresome shaping to worry about. It is knit in an attractive "bell stitch" and the instructions suggest to practice knitting the stitch before starting on your work to get use to purling 5 stitches together.

MEASUREMENTS:Bust: width all around at underarm unstretched is 28 inches, stretching to 34 inches
MATERIALS:Original Yarn suggestion and needle size info:
6 oz 3 Ply Wool
No. 11 Needles (3.00 mm)
No. 8 Needles (4.00 mm)
No. 13 Crochet Hook (2.25 mm)
TENSION AND YARN:
2 1⁄2 patterns to 2 inches in width
The original yarn may not be available due to the age of the pattern. Select yarn that is closest to the weight of the original yarn.
When reworking the pattern it is best to knit a tension swatch with your chosen yarn. To get the correct measurements, your tension must be the same as stated in the pattern.
