You knit this fabulous 1930s Starring Stripes Jumper side ways, then pick up the edge stitches for the ribbing at the waist, neck and cuffs. Instructions are included to knit a long or short sleeved jumper. It's perfect to wear with a suit or over a skirt and trousers.

MATERIALS
Original yarn suggestion and needle size info:
2 oz 3 Ply Wool Fingering of each in Green and Fawn
1 oz 3 Ply Wool Fingering in Rust
1 oz 3 Ply Wool Fingering in Yellow
1 oz 3 Ply Wool Fingering in Brown
No. 9 Needles (3.75 mm)
No. 10 Needles (3.25 mm)
2 Buttons
TENSION
Worked at a tension to produce 6 stitches to 1 inch in width, and 9 rows to 1 inch in depth.
The original yarn may not be available due to the age of the pattern. Select the yarn type that is closest to the weight of the original yarn.
When reworking the pattern it is best to knit a tension swatch with your chosen yarn. To get the correct measurements, your tension must be the same as stated in the pattern.
