Length from top of shoulder:  40 inches

Sleeve seam:  16 1⁄2 inches

MATERIALS

Original yarn suggestion and needle size info:

1 lb 2 oz Patons Super Bouclet

No 9 Needles (3.75 mm)

TENSION

Work a tension to produce 7 stitches to 1 inch in width measured over plain smooth fabric.

The original yarn may not be available due to the age of the pattern. Select the yarn type that is closest to the weight of the original yarn.

When reworking the pattern it is best to knit a tension swatch with your chosen yarn. To get the correct measurements, your tension must be the same as stated in the pattern.  If there is no tension specified in the pattern, you might have to calculate the tension based on the total number of stitches at the widest part of the back and front bodice and divide it by the bust measurement specified.

Happy Knitting!
