KNITTING PATTERN INFORMATION

 

This trim little 1930s Lobelia Jumper ⁄ Sweater is knitted in and lace pattern and the yoke in garter stitch. This smart little jumper would also look lovely knitted in a soft pastel colour.

 

KNITTING PATTERN INSTRUCTIONS 


MEASUREMENTS

Bust:  to fit 33 inch bust

Length from shoulder:  20 1⁄2 inches

Sleeve seam:  2 1⁄2 inches

 

MATERIALS

Original yarn suggestion and needle size info:   

5 oz Sirdar Super Shetland 3 ply 

No. 11 knitting needles (3.00 mm)
No. 12 knitting needles (2.75 mm) 

Stitch holder

Crochet hook

6 Glass buttons

 

TENSION

 Worked at a tension of 15 stitches to 2 inches and 26 rows to 2 inches.

 

The original yarn may not be available due to the age of the pattern. Select the yarn type that is closest to the weight of the original yarn.

 

When reworking the pattern it is best to knit a tension swatch with your chosen yarn. To get the correct measurements, your tension must be the same as stated in the pattern.
