Here's a very attractive 1930s Lillian Jumper to knit. This vintage lacy jumper has a clever jabot that can be knitted in a contrasting shade and is set in with little pleats. Directions are included to knit long sleeves.
KNITTING PATTERN INSTRUCTIONS
Bust: width all around at underarm 38 inches
Original yarn suggestion and needle size info:
5 oz 3 Ply Wool Fingering for short sleeved jumper
1 oz 3 Ply Wool Fingering for jabot
No. 8 Needles (4.00 mm)
No. 10 Needles (3.25 mm)
Worked at a tension to produce 6 stitches to 1 inch in width on No. 8 Needles.
The original yarn may not be available due to the age of the pattern. Select the yarn type that is closest to the weight of the original yarn.
When reworking the pattern it is best to knit a tension swatch with your chosen yarn. To get the correct measurements, your tension must be the same as stated in the pattern.
