KNITTING PATTERN INFORMATION

 

Add this smart 1930s Isolde Jumper ⁄ Sweater to your wardrobe. This fitted  jumper is knitted in a druid stitch. Gussets are inserted between the shoulder seams and initials are embroidered in stocking stitch inset. Knit this darling vintage jumper in a shade that will compliment your style.

MEASUREMENTS

Bust: to fit 34 to 36 inch bust

Back length from top of shoulder:  20 1⁄2 inches

Sleeve seam:  18 inches

 

MATERIALS

Original yarn suggestion and needle size info:   

8 oz Lavenda 3 ply

Small quantity of contrasting colour for initials

No. 8 Needles (4 mm) 

 

TENSION

Worked at a tension of 22 rows (one set of ribs) to  2 1⁄2 inches.

 

The original yarn may not be available due to the age of the pattern. Select the yarn type that is closest to the weight of the original yarn.

 

When reworking the pattern it is best to knit a tension swatch with your chosen yarn. To get the correct measurements, your tension must be the same as stated in the pattern.
