KNITTING PATTERN INFORMATION
Knit this 1930s Harlow Beach Ensemble in navy and white and you'll be the smartest woman on the beach. The frock has real chic with its pin stripes and lovely revealing neckline. You can put on the coatee when you've had too much sun, The pattern also includes a long sleeved cardigan for cooler days which can be worn with the frock, a skirt or trousers.

MATERIALS
Original yarn suggestion and needle size info:
THE FROCK
10 oz 3 ply Excelsior or Climax wool in navy, 1 oz in white
No. 11 knitting needles (3.00 mm) pointed at both ends
No. 12 stradnoid crochet hook
THE COATEE
4 oz 3 ply Excelsior or Climax wool in navy, 1 oz in white
No. 11 knitting needles (3.00 mm)
No. 12 stradnoid crochet hook
1 navy buckle
THE CARDIGAN
8 oz 3 ply Excelsior or Climax wool in navy, 1 oz in white
No. 12 knitting needles (2.75 mm)
No. 10 knitting needles (3.25 mm)
8 buttons
TENSION
Using No. 11 needles, work to produce 8 stitches and 10 rows to one square inch, in smooth fabric ( 1 row knit, 1 row purl), and with No. 10 needles work to produce 7 1⁄2 stitches and 10 rows to one square inch in the pattern.
