TENSION
One pattern is worked at a tension of 14 stitches to 1 5⁄8 inches in width (not stretched).
The original yarn may not be available due to the age of the pattern. Select the yarn type that is closest to the weight of the original yarn.
When reworking the pattern it is best to knit a tension swatch with your chosen yarn. To get the correct measurements, your tension must be the same as stated in the pattern.
