MATERIALS
Original yarn suggestion and needle size info:
4 oz 4 Ply Wool in Biarritz ( yellow)
3 oz 4 Ply Wool in Chinese Red
For Long Sleeves add 2 oz extra of each colour
No. 8 Needles (4.00 mm)
No. 10 Needles (3.25 mm) long needles with points at both ends
TENSION
Worked at a tension of 2 stripes or 8 rows in depth to the inch.
The original yarn may not be available due to the age of the pattern. Select the yarn type that is closest to the weight of the original yarn.
When reworking the pattern it is best to knit a tension swatch with your chosen yarn. To get the correct measurements, your tension must be the same as stated in the pattern.
